Comfort and Joy

Had a really nice day out with Bill today. We went driving, saw some little towns and things we'd not seen before.  Mostly I just enjoyed his company and the sunshine.

Some gorgeous clouds....

Just look at that beautiful blue sky! 

Then we started coming into some rain clouds and they're equally interesting...

We saw a dam and I got some pictures of the river too. Ironically for someone who can't swim, I love water. 

Bill also found this awesome plaque at a flea market tucked away off the road. 

The wooden part of the plaque was made in 1972, the square front was engrossed in 1944. How awesome is it to find two separate pieces of the past made one? And the detail, well pictures don't do justice. 

And last but not least in a day of comfort and joy...

My fuzzy blue cookie monster fur house shoes....

Ignore the blisters from my brace, one day my tendon will repair completely and I won't need the brace at all. 

Thank God for such blessed days as this.
