Day Out

It was a perfectly beautiful day yesterday.  Perfect temps, perfect breeze,  blue skies. 

Friend of ours spent the day with us and Bill Dear had the great idea to go to the fort in Fort Scott. 

The fort is very cool. You get to see it restored like it was when it was new, but they also let you see what it's made of, how it was built, what their lives were like. It's like stepping back in time. And it's free, which is really nice when you're on a tight budget.
